Stream Sustainability Project

The SSC is a project designed to make it easier for magnet fishers, beach cleaners, and marine conservationists to work together to organize/host cleanups. The project was done for the duration of 1 month, from July 9th to August 9th, 2023, where I was the sole UX/UI designer.

The Problem

When analyzing user needs, I determined users needed an organization to apply for community service hours, create community within magnet fishing, and make it easily accessible for users to enter their location and join cleanups. In order to adequately meet these demands, user personas David and Ryan were created, with their own sets of user journey maps, empathy maps, and problem statements.

Designing of the Product

The product made its way through the sitemap in order to plan out the informational architecture. Next, 2 iterations of a paper wireframe was constructed in order to plan out how the app and website was going to work.

Finally, the low fidelity designs for the app and website was created as seen on the image carousel.
